How to get more decorating bang for your buck? We at http://www.kidscomfortz.com/ suggest that you select the main fabric of your child's bedding in a fabulous fabric that will grow with your child's ever-changing tastes. For example, for the young dinosaur enthusiast, instead of selecting your child's comforter out of the dinosaur fabric choose a more grown up fabric such as denim. Choose your accessories (toss pillows, pillow shams, etc.) in the dinosaur fabric. This way, when your dinosaur enthusiast decides he likes baseball better than dinosaurs you can just swap out your toss pillows and pillow shams and you have a whole new look for your room!

Another way to achieve more bang for your buck is to opt for a print reverse on your hugger, or comforter. This way you can create two different looks for one room. One of our customers ordered a comforter with a print reverse and two different pillow shams. In the Spring one side of the comforter is up and she uses the lighter of the pillow shams for a light, clean Spring look. In the Fall, she flips the comforter over and again switches pillow shams. This gives a warmer, Fall look. All of this is accomplished with just one comforter! Huggers are very unique inasmuch as they are a tailored comforter originally designed for bunk beds. 78 Days and Counting!

So, this is the time of year that makes my head pound, my ears hurt, my body ache and my stress level rise up through the ozone . . . any guesses? It isn't Fall that ties me into knots, it is the countdown until Christmas! I work on a retail website and every year I am just shocked by how many last minute shoppers there are out there. In the time of convenience shopping (courtesy of the world wide web) it is still out there - procrastination!

Now most of the time, I receive calls from the wonderful aunt, uncle, mom, dad, grandma or grandpa (any time between now and mid-November) to get a gift for their favorite niece, nephew, son, daughter, or grandchild. Those are the calls I love! I enjoy working with people to find something really special and fun for a gift idea. We do stock a few standard items, so we can even work with the late November folks.

Last year, I got a frantic phone call around December 20th from a California customer (5 day shipping time during non-holiday time). This customer wanted a sleeping bag, with a custom interior and a monogrammed name to be delivered to California in time for Christmas. They were a little upset with me personally when I couldn't make this happen. I even offered to ship a standard sleeping bag overnight, but they wanted the customization and personalization -- basically they wanted their cake and wanted to eat it too! (That would be one of the headaches I mentioned above).

I love working with customers! I want you to get the perfect gift item, but I need a little bit of help. To quote a movie line "help me, help you!" We custom make sleeping bags and gift items (actually all of our products). Though we would love to stock all the custom options the customers can come up with, this would be impossible. So to make things easier on you [and me - ;) ], plan ahead and order early. I cannot stress enough how many orders are processed this time of year, especially for sleeping bags! Though we like to treat each customer as our only customer, the truth is different.

Soft, Cozy Minky or Nothing!!

Once you have gone to Minky Dot or Softy fabric there is no going back! The college kids who had it at home are taking with them! Anna is off to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with her Softy lined custom patchwork, Katie to Notre Dame with her softy lined custom patchwork, and Jack is taking his Corduroy Chocolate reverse to Camel Softy to the Boston Conservatory! When they finally get to bed, we know they will be cozy!

Some of our very young customers (2 years of age) want ALL of their Minky Dot blankets for bedtime! Not one, not two, but three Minky Dot blankees are needed to find that restful sleep everyone in the household is craving! In the picture, young Tommy has decided that Minky Dot is preferable to clothing!

We have actually had customers order bedding and/or sleep-n-bags for all their kids! If Minky Dot or Softy are included on any of the order, we have to tell them they need to have it for all the kids! If not the kids will know who the “favorite” is!

College!!

I'm going to College!!

How exciting, right? It's been a complete and total head rush to be honest, trying to get everything ready and set in place... I feel like a ball of nerves, and then on top of that I'm an excited ball of nerves which just makes for a lot of slap happy feelings and bouncing around while dreading that the sky is going to start falling on top of my head!

Well now, isn't that a visual? I can hardly even focus on bedding today so I don't think I can talk about it right now. All I can say is I feel like I've been trying to stand on my head and balance my laptop with my feet while they're asking me to hold a pen between my teeth and sign all of these student forms and financial aid contracts... This is the American Dream people! I didn't really think College was in the cards for me, that wasn't some sappy sob story I slapped on my essay just to earn points with Administrations.

It's just so much to try and swallow at once, and there is so much going on. However, the school I'm going to? They're wonderful. The Art Institute of Pittsburgh has literally given me a whole team of people to work with. They even did my FAFSA for me and walked me through every process along the way... Now Saturday is my last home stretch? They're going to get me set up for enrollment and then I should be starting on the 19th! That's barely three weeks away.

Wow.

And what am I going for you ask?

Graphic Design! Currently signed up for my Two Year Associates Degree, soon to be changed to my Bachelors Degree about half way through the second year -- but I feel like I might be getting ahead of myself? Honestly... I should probably just get through the first semester with my head still attached to my shoulders before I even start thinking of Degrees... But Graphic classes are so much fun!

Seriously, when I started taking them back in High School? Oh those classes were better than wasting my study hall talking with friends. I loved my Graphic Design classes so much, in fact my teacher at the time could hardly get me to listen to his instructions word for word because I was constantly trying to get one to ten steps ahead of him -- because it all just enthralled me to be able to create images that were just so fantastic in my mind, that the chance to have this as a career option? I'm swimming in my head.

There are other things to take into consideration though, like... I'll be staying in Downtown Pittsburgh for one... coming from little pin head on the map tiny Aurora Ohio, the town that literally goes to sleep after 9:30 pm every night of the week since Geauga Lake shut down (and sometimes even then!) and I'll also be living away from home in my own dorm room with three perfect strangers as well.

Things should be... Interesting. I want some comforts from home, like my video game inspired monogrammed toss pillow GLaDOS, and my comforter -- some books and little things that make me squeal in delight -- but mostly GLaDOS... She is the most comfortable pillow in the world, I got her a while back from Kidscomfortz (No joke, remember, this is not a buy my stuff buy my stuff type of blog day) and had them monogram the name on it in red thread... I thought Alex, the man who does our monograms was going to laugh himself silly, especially when I explained that only the "a" was to be lower case...

What can I say? I love my video games! I'm 21 for godsake.

But she is a super comfortable little token from my bedroom that I just don't think I could live without while I'm away from home. I'm told lots of college kids spend so much money on things for their dorm room but some classics are always perfect... All you really need in my mind are the things that make you comfortable, keep you warm, and have some type of special meaning to you. That should be enough, especially if you're going for the first time, or at least I would like to think -- I could be horribly wrong, but I seriously don't think so.

Can't get much more personal than that, haha. All of the toss pillows and comforts, even the teddy bear on the top bunk I love it. As much as I am excited about actually going to school, taking my classes and seeing a new state and a new town more extensively, there is nothing quite like having an amazing place to go back to at the end of the day for some chill out/wind down time.

The Girls Dorm Room!

Boys Dorm Bedding!

College time is changing time and changing time can be a little more than chaotic! Sure kids are going away from home, most for the first time, and they’ll go and learn and make new friends and have life changing experiences but at the end of each night what are they going back to? A cement common room and cold white and cream walls? Nothing like a sterilization vibe to make them feel right at home, hm?

When my son went off to college four years ago he knew that he was going to want something a bit homier for his dorm room and he chose to do bedding through Kidscomfortz in the Tie Dye fabric and Blue Denim to make his metal bunk feel a bit more comfortable. Some large 30” toss pillows in coordinating fabrics of yellow and blue and that bunk of his turned into a futon.

The next two years he found himself living off campus though and his bed had moved from a twin to a full so he decided that he was going to change his bedding set. Again! College time is filled with so many changes but some things will always be nice to have around like a great looking bedroom to fall into at the end of the night. The Hilton Head Stripe fabric he choose for his full gave for a very grown up look with it’s light and dark blue, ivory and a camel Minky (Cuddle Bubble) backing, the cool tones mixed with those sharp lines tied his whole room together. Not to mention that Camel Minky reverse? What a great night’s rest!

I knew I wasn’t the only one who had a son looking for home comforts while he was off to college though so I thought that I would ask Marie how her son Sean felt when he was going to college. She told me that when she first went to go see the dorm she couldn’t even help but be struck by the cold feeling of the common room shared by four students, including her son! Cement walls, bare windows, not exactly the ideal of comfortable when you think about it, now is it? Ordering some lined curtain panels, and an array of toss pillows made an enormous difference in the room though and before long the common room seemed worth spending time in again for the boys.

I even had a nephew order his bedding in Antique Black Check, and for some reason he made sure to order two enormous bolsters with his bedding. It seemed so odd at the time until I finally had to ask him what they were for, and do you know what he told me? The boys in his dorm used them on the couches as “Man separators”, haha! Can you imagine? If they were sitting watching television they would use the bolsters so that they weren’t touching! What a riot.

Help?! Need a Great Idea Ladies

My cousin, Richard, is getting married (first marriage) and I need a great, relatively affordable gift idea for the wedding shower. He and Candace, like everyone else registered at Target and Kohl's, etc. but that all seems very ordinary to me. You fellow-bloggers are the most free thinking, unique group I come in contact with! One of you great ladies HAS TO have a fantastic, unique and fun idea.

Anna and I were thinking of this: Dinner on Us. Fill a new, large pasta pot with a table cloth, salt and pepper shaker, pasta, sauce, parmesan cheese, two wine glasses and a bottle of wine. We were also going to include a colander, a sauce pan, a frying pan, the pasta scoop and plates . . . that is as far as we got. Have any additions to this idea? Great. We are all ears!

I am open to unique and fun ideas! What did you get for the last wedding shower you attended?

P.S. My cousin, Richard, is 22 and I remember holding him when he was born! He is now approximately 1.25 feet taller than I am!!

Huggers are NOT for grown-ups!

My husband and I make Huggers and Comforters for business, so we thought that we should have one at home too. We had a Hugger made for our full-size mattress, and yes! We still have a Full Size bed!

Well anyhow, we thought it would add a really sharp look to our bedroom. Huggers are made to neatly cover the mattress but do you know what we found out? You can’t put two adults under a Hugger! We’re literally in a tug-of-war every night over this thing.

While Huggers are not made for couples, they are perfect for kids.

Maybe everyone is a little confused as to what I mean when I say “Hugger” though so I’ll try and explain. It’s a Comforter like any other, but there is a big difference. The end of this comforter has fitted corners that allow it to actually “hug” onto the foot of the mattress in order to stay in place but don’t confine your kids legs either.

So your kids can have a great looking bedroom set, but one that’s also easy to maintain. Making the bed is a snap when all they have to do is take the top of the hugger and flip it back over the bed – and look at that! Done!

We tried so hard to get ahead of the curve this year by placing our cut-off date a little bit earlier than we had in years past? Well customers went insane with sending in orders…and of course no one wants a standard done sleep-n-bag but would much rather a custom design all their own, and who wouldn’t? With the minky, softly, fleece and flannel fabrics to line your bags with, monograms to tag them with and a million different fabric options to choose from? A single sleep-n-bag can become quite the Holiday gift with a little thought put into it.

I’m not here to try and promote anything today though; we’re up to our eyes in orders and probably will be on through January. Beastly Day of Shopping

Anna and I decide to do some shopping the local strip mall, she wanted to get a brand new hair cut and I wanted just a trim. We sign in and Anna get's called first. I decided to sit in the chair next to her and watch while the stylist cut 10" off her hair. I am completely jealous of Anna's hair. Her hair is thick and grows like a weed planted in Rapid Grow. My hair is very, very fine and grows at a glacial pace (yes, she is my daughter).

I got skipped in the line up. I wasn't worried about it, but the stylist who was cutting Anna's hair brought it to someone's attention. This lady storms over to a chair and, with her back to me says, "HAVE A SEAT." I wasn't even sure she was talking to me. She trims my hair with unnerving speed and doesn't say a word. Her entire countenance was that of someone who has just sucked down a lemon. I later found out she was the manager. If you don't like your job, let someone else do it.

After Anna's hair cut and my lightening session, we went next door to get Anna a sandwich. This had to be better, right? Well the servers behind the counter were fine, but the customer in front of us was just a monster. He, I surmise, had first been helped by the initial server in line who started his sandwich. His sandwich was then passed down to the next server in line, who (I guess) had the nerve to ask him the same question, "would you like your sandwich toasted?" "I SAID NO," he snaps at the second server. The first server (and I give her credit for this one) said calmly, "she was in the back and did not hear you." The scary part, is he was with this son. A next generation of beastly customers?

Anna and I walked outside and we looked at each other and both said, "WOW!" We decided it was time to end our shopping day. Something must have been in the air. Ever have a shopping day like this?!

I’ve seriously underestimated the size of our product line!

We’re getting ready to switch over websites, hopefully by the time the Christmas rush hits. One thing that has been kind of nice however, is taking some new photos of products that we hadn’t in the past, but it’s brought us completely up to date with our photo catalog. I’m excited for the launch but we’re not quite ready just yet, hopefully it will blow everyone away though!

Since we’re in the business of customizations I had some amazing crib sets that I wanted to show to you guys today.

Our Watermelon and Pistachio fabric collections are incredibly popular. We have “Pre Designed” Decorator Crib Sets for both of them (Watermelon | Pistachio) but one of our customers decided to take the fabric collections and turn it into something completely unique for her needs.

She’s ready to deliver twins and wanted sets that would look great but different beside one another. Designed completely by her she added the Corduroy Chocolate fabric and switched up the Minky reverse for her Coverlets changing the look and feel of these chic cribs sets.

The good and bad of it all

I’ve got fun news and not so fun news… But since it is the morning, I think we could all use a smile with our coffee. My baby cousin Kanyon, our model here at Kidscomfortz, got to go on his first pony ride over the weekend. We went to the Apple Butter Festival in Burton Ohio. It’s a lot of fun and we go every year. This year was the 62nd Annual Festival! The entire thing is set up around a colonial style village, they have booths set up to show you how to do handmade rug making, weaving, metal work, an old style saw mill, train rides for the kiddies and all sorts of other things like dancing and antique browsing. Not to mention the air is just sweltering with that sweet smell of homemade apple butter which takes place right in the center of the village!

If you walk around the whole path you’ll finally find yourself in this one area with kite flyers that show up every year. Since it is October and it is a bit nippy, the wind comes in at just the right speed to get all the kites up in the air and right next to the kite flying there are pony rides for the little ones! Of course there is an 80lb weight limit so I didn’t quite make the cut (haha) but Kanyon sure did! He started calling his pony “baby” and wanted to give it kisses too! So I just wanted you guys to see a picture of Kanyon and his new friend “Bambi”

It was nothing but smiles and giggles with him and his mom April while they seemed to be having more fun than anyone else in the ring! Burton was a fantastic trip though and I can’t wait for next year to go see it again.

Now… Moving onto the not so great news: Can you believe it? It seems like just last week that I was updating the layout for this page and already it needs to be changed again? Honestly now…

The truth of the matter is that we have to put one of our brand new fabrics on backorder already! We can’t keep it on the shelves and now they’re telling us that Feeling Groovy Dots won’t be in till the 10th of December!... You think you’re stressed about it? Bah you can’t even believe how stressed out we are about it over here. Of course there is the option of finding a third party to fill existing orders but that won’t help any of our customers out that were planning to order but haven’t yet… All I can say about it is that I’m sorry if anyone was looking at ordering the dot fabric that won’t be coming in.

Starting and ending a post on down notes are not what I’m about though so let me just remind you guys of a few things: Where we’re out of our Groovy Dots, that doesn’t mean that we’re out of some of our other fabrics like Camo, Camo Skater, Fancy Peace or even some old time favorites like Watermelon Paisley, All Star Sports and the ever popular Glitter Princess and Trucks too! The Holiday season puts such a rush on everyone I guess by now we should all be used to some delays but they can still be such a bummer. I’m going to try and keep you guys updated this season on what’s going on behind the site.

I can’t believe that it’s already the 6th of October already.

Pretty soon all the leaves will have changed and the weather will be changing, before long we’ll be headed into the Christmas Season too! My niece, Phoebe received her Kidscomfortz Nap Mat for her 2nd Birthday and she is sleeping in it…in her crib!

We were in the process of developing the product and made her a Deluxe Nap Mat in the Feeling Groovy Dot with the Minky Dot Lavender Interior (check it out!)! Well, Phoebe already has the Kidcomfortz Blueberry Cordial crib bedding, window treatments, etc in her room and the lavender Monogrammed Nap Mat was for the Day Care but she is SLEEPING is what really matters. She has never been into Sleep but she is as cozy as can be in her Feeling Groovy Nat Mat…

I guess you could say…Phoebe’s Feeling Groovy and so are her folks, as they are getting some SLEEP, too!

New Nap Mats

We finally have decided on a design that everyone seems to like for our nap mats. We looked at several different designs. One design had a separate pouch, which we decided would be too hard for the little ones. Another design had velcro and/or snaps, again, too much for the little ones.

We have designed a nap mat that has everything attached. The pillow is sewn-in, however, there is a removable pillow form. There is an attached pouch and handle. In addition, the fleece blanket section is attached as well.

They are easy to wash, easy to fold and easy to transport.

Step 1) - fold the fleece in half

Step 2) - fold the entire mat in half

Step 3) - fold into the pouch and you are done.

Not Your Grandmother's Patchwork

Remember the old patchwork quilt? Some were made with old feedbags. I had one made from my great grandmother. By the time I received it, I had to completely take it apart, restitch a number of the squares and replace the backing and binding. It was a labor of love. I am nostalgic that way.

Now you can order patchwork items that come with fabrics of your choice. They are stitched and the insides edges are sealed with a serger. The ones we make are machine quilted. They are made to last.

I have seen some of the most beautiful items created by stores and customers, using fabrics I NEVER would have put together. Most of them turn out amazing! Some of them use only two fabrics while others combine up to six fabrics.

Our Sleeping Bags are Great and Kids Love Them!

At Kidscomfortz we sell indoor sleeping bags in three sizes: toddler, youth and teen sizes. They are our number one gift item. As a matter of fact, around Christmas time, we cannot make them fast enough!

Now sleeping bags for kids can be found almost anywhere, so what makes ours so special?

First, we have over 150 fabrics to choose from. Our fabrics include cotton prints, heavy wale corduroy and denims. For the sports inclined child we have lots of sports fabrics and for the young dancers, we have ballerina fabric, for the princesses, we have princess fabric, etc. In addition, for the child who absolutely has to have a super hero bag, we will accept customers own fabric without an upcharge. The bags standardly have a solid broadcloth interior, but for an up charge you can upgrade to a flannel interior, a Minky interior or a print interior.

Second, youth and teen bags have attached pouches that they can be rolled into. Then, with the attached handle your child can carry them like a large duffel bag.

The toddler sleeping bag also folds into an attached pouch and when it is folded looks like a pillow. These are perfect to keep in the back of the car. They can be used in the case of the emergency nap at grandma's or a friend's house!

Third, all three of the bags have an attached pillow. This is a sleepover kit to go! The pillows can be folded out or folded in, depending on how cozy your little one wants to get in their bag.

Fourth, we offer personalization for all of the bags. We have four monogram fonts to choose from and a number of thread colors that can be used.

With the ability to pick the outside of your sleeping bag, the inside of your sleeping bag, and the option to monogram it, you can truly create a one-of-a-kind sleeping bag for your child! My son, Ian, was the envy of his entire cabin at the sixth grade camp they attended. He had a Corduroy Chocolate teen sleeping bag with a Softy Camel interior.

Sixth Grade Award Ceremony

I mentioned Ian a couple of days ago, he is my youngest. He is 12, going on 13. He is a good student, plays football, plays the trombone . . . good, so far.

We are nearing the end of our school year (next Tuesday). I got home from work yesterday and he was all excited about going to his award ceremony which was being held at the high school. I was less than excited. It has been a long day, I had to leave work early to get to a doctor's appointment, wait for my prescription, fight traffic, etc. I got home just in enough time. So my oldest daughter, Anna, and I went with him to the award ceremony. As soon as we got there, he was off, hanging with his friends, talking to all the girls (a constant with him), having a good time.

When we got into the auditorium Anna and I sat in one section and all the kids from the entire sixth grade sat in another section. We listened to the faculty, the principal, the school superintendent, and the 8th grade student selected for the President's Award. The 8th grader gave a speech to the 6th grade class to encourage them. It was sweet, she was a little nervous. Then they called the kids up one, by one. It was very long. I was getting a little fidgety at this point inasmuch as I hadn't even been home for more than five minutes and it was almost 9:00 p.m.

After they went through the entire 6th grade class, they announced that they had two slide shows to present. I silently groaned. They started the slide shows just after 9:00. Two minutes into the slide shows I felt bad for silently complaining! They played music while showing pictures of the kids at the sixth grade camp, in the hallways at school and on the recess field. During the two slide shows, the ENTIRE sixth grade class was laughing at each others pictures and singing along to the music. It was so sweet! To top it off, the look on Ian's face after the ceremony, proudly holding his academic award was portrait-worthy.

He could have gotten his award the next day, had we not gone, but the singing, laughter and the total look of pride would have been missing. Sometimes, the greatest experiences come out of the most unexpected moments. Even if I am exhausted, I wouldn't miss the next award ceremony for the world!

Think Dorm Bedding

Well, it is June and many parents are getting ready to send their kids off to, or back to, college in the very near future. At Kidscomfortz we have a number of bedding options that work excellent for dorms.

Twin Extra Long Huggers and Twin Extra Long Comforters are perfect for the dorm mattresses. Add a pillow sham and a toss pillow and you have the top of the bed dressed.

Mike and Beth's son ordered several 30" toss pillows as floor cushions. These proved to be extra seating in the common area, as well as something to lean against while sitting on the bed and studying. When he first went off to Notre Dame as a freshman he ordered the Tie Dye Hugger for his dorm room. By junior year he had switched to the Hilton Head Stripe reverse to camel softy, which we believe represents a new found maturity!

When my son, Sean, went off to college, I made several large toss pillows just to try to warm up the common room. It reminded me of a hospital room, white cinder block walls, white linoleum tile, white horizontal blinds, and one blue couch . . . you get the picture.

Mike and Beth's nephew added a couple of 54" bolsters to his common room, which I am told became "dude separators" while sitting on the couch watching TV or playing video games. I didn't know this was an issue, but I am new at college dorm decorating. Boys will be boys but they don’t want to sit right next to each other!

Mike and Beth’s niece had three roommates who wanted to coordinate their room after seeing her beautiful Patchwork Comforter using Hot Pinks, Yellows, Lime Green, and reversing to white Softy! During the summer one of the girls bought curtains and sent an extra pair for us to make pillows. The rest of the pillows for the common room were made to coordinate with the curtains. They won Best Room in their dorm because it was so beautifully decorated!

We have just added a new item, which is called the bed caddy. You can combine three fabrics, two fabrics or have it all one fabric. It can tie to the side of the bed frame OR you can tuck a piece under the mattress. It will hold a magazine, the TV remote, keys, cell phone or anything they want to tuck in there. We can also make custom shower curtains, they are a little pricey, but if that is what they really want the shower curtain can match their bedding.

Out of Child Chasing Shape. Hats Off to You!

I was one of those child brides - married a year out of high school. Still married 22+ years later, so there is some good news! I had my children at a young age, the first to arrive almost three years into marriage and the second to arrive the following year. I was 22 and then 23 years old.

That was enough activity to keep me going for quite a few years! My oldest are now 20 and 19 years old. I lived through it (although the teenage years about killed me). So here I am, 42 years old and I feeling relatively strong, healthy . . . until Friday!

Mike and Beth (the owners) decided it was be a good time to have a group of models in to photograph. So we had 5 guests, all 5 years old and younger. It was an all day affair, full of squeals, laughter and running (and a few bumps). Mike ordered pizzas, picked up cupcakes and pop and a good time was to be had by all. When everyone left, the three of us looked at each other, fell into our chairs and exclaimed how exhausted we were! I was done for the entire day . . . and evening, and they were too!

Mike and Beth, have three older kids and one younger - Annie, who is 13. I have the two older children and one younger, Ian, who is 12, almost 13. I think that is enough for us! We are out of child chasing shape. Hats off to the two moms of our five models and to all of you moms of younger children! Who needs fitness routines when you are a mom of little ones.

I think I will wait (hopefully at least 5+ some years) for grand children!

What is a Tuck-Me-In

The Tuck-Me-In is a patented comforter. This unique product is only available through Fireside Comforts (our manufacturer). The Tuck-Me-In is a comforter that is tailored to fit the foot of the bed. It is attached to an additional piece of sheeting (the "Tuck") that fits under the mattress. The bottom third of the comforter zips to the "Tuck" along both sides to keep the bed tucked in at night and make it easier to make the bed in the morning.

These comforters stay in place. You will not have blankets falling on the floor. The children simply have to flip them back in the morning and the bed is practically made! There is no bulky comforters hanging over the edges of their captain beds, bunk beds or twin beds. A neat crisp look for your bedding.

Tuck-Me-Ins are manufactured from 100% cotton prints with a 65/35 poly-cotton broadcloth reverse which is quilted to a 16 oz. bonded poly fiber batting. The edge of the comforter is beautifully finished with binding. Our standard product matches a print to a coordinating solid.

Customers can mix and match coordinating and complimentary prints and solids to create a unique bedroom set. They are designed to fit standard size mattresses up to 9" thick. Decorator Crib Sets

We have a line of Decorator Crib Sets that is always growing! Our Decorator Crib Sets use plush minky and softy fabrics!

The Bumper Pads - The bumper pads more often than not, are a patchwork design and have zippered closures and removable inserts for ease in washing. They are available with a ruffled top, corded top or a double corded boxed top. They are firm and we use ties long enough for you to tie them securely to the crib.

The Coverlet - The decorator coverlets are also patchwork more often than not, and have a minky or softy reverse. These are available with a knife edge, bound edge, corded edge or ruffled edge. The size of these coverlets allow them to transition to toddler bedding. Not designed for use in the crib - these items are great for a cuddly mommy and me time!

The Sheet - The sheet can be a cotton print, a poly cotton blend (solid) or a flannel. We use elastic all the way around the edges to allow for a secure fit.

The Skirt - The crib skirt is available in a tailored or ruffled design. We allow for a print trim and the skirts are lined.
